For the past week and a half I have completely enjoyed disengaging my brain from my regular sessions and work flow. It’s been a much needed break. We’ve had lots of time in our pjs and watched too much Netlix (I’m currently binge watching Lie To Me… so good!). No alarms and no rushing out the door first thing in the morning. We did start remodeling our bathroom and laundry room and have had plenty of Christmas activities so it hasn’t been that relaxing I guess!
The other day my kindergartner was looking at a picture she made in school and I overheard her say, “I miss you school!” So maybe we are getting close to needing to get back to our routine… maybe.
I feel very blessed and thankful as I look back on our 2014. We were blessed to move and start a remodel project, Phil has taken on some big things with his work, we have 2 kiddos in school full time, and we have enjoyed the blessings (and a lot of challenges) of being a licensed foster home
And of course, I’ve squeezed some sessions in there also! Being a mom is really my main gig, but I love that I have this creative outlet. I am passionate about helping families see the beauty in the current stage of their family. Life goes quickly and is full of surprises. I hope you take the time this year to enjoy your loved ones and maybe even get photographed with them. And then get those pictures into albums and on your walls. Surround yourself with the joy of being together! Many blessings to you in 2015!!!
