My poor blog has been neglected this past month as we have been busy, busy! Here’s a little recap of some things we did in the month of June!
We have had so much rain and even some flooding in our town in the past few weeks! Lot’s of rain means lots of weeds. The kiddos help out with their wagon. The girls got haircuts and someone got a water table for his 2nd birthday. Lots of afternoons and evenings spent on our back patio when it wasn’t raining.
We had sad news with the passing of Phil’s grandpa early in the month. We packed up our crew for a trip to Michigan for the funeral. We spent a few days remembering some of Phil’s favorite things he did with his grandparents and spending time with family. He was a wonderful man that had a way of making all his grandchildren and great grandchildren feel special. I am so thankful he got to meet all 3 of our littles, and I will always have wonderful memories of our time spent with him.
And some happy days… we celebrated the guys with Father’s day and our little ones 2nd birthday!
And just this past weekend we took a trip to the Monticello train museum with family. The 2 year old was in heaven riding the train and it was a gorgeous day to take some time off for something fun!
Both Phil and I have had lots of work on our plates as well, so it’s been a full month. Thankful for all the good memories! Now I’m just hoping that July is a little warmer and a lot drier!
